I trained with 'THE' Kirsty Meakin 😱

At the start of the year I made a concious decision to upskill and learn all I could in the art of nails. This wasn't an unreasonable decision when you consider just how fast paced the Hair & Beauty industry is, though one would think having 3 qualifications in nails is enough to be on your merry way.

For some people sure, it's plenty, but for me...

I'm the type of person that thinks there is always another lesson to be learnt, or a skill to be improved. PERFECTION doesn't exsist, instead I work for progress and as long as I'm improving in one way or another I'm moving forward and becoming better. Not just in nails but in all aspects of life. 💪

When i compare where I started to now I can see progress for sure, and if I wanted to compare my work to others (which I don't tend to do very often because I'm on my own path) there are some obvious skill levels to achieve!

So although I have improved and moved forward with my skills, there is always room to learn a new trick or new product to buy that will help me level up...

this is where Kirsty came in.

You simply cannot go onto YouTube and watch nail videos without coming across one of her videos, it's as simple as that!

Whether it origniates from her time with Naio Nails or from her very own Kirsty Meakin channel, chances are if you're watching nail videos you have seen one of hers!

So taking a course with Kirsty seemed the obvious choice to up my nail game...

On 7th February I finally met the lady I had been watching on YouTube since I started my nail training in 2019 😱

The day was brilliant, so chilled and relaxed. The ladies were so lovely and chatty. It was a really nice day spent with ladies that think the same way about their careers as I do and I will look forward to meeting them again on the next course 😊

Yep, I have booked another course with Kirsty for April 2022 🙈 Exciting!!!

Last year I entered competitions using salon standard nail designs, but after taking this masterclass course with Kirsty Meakin I will now be able to enter a much higher standard of nails for competition... extreme length 😍🤪
